David Netherway (Non-executive Chairman)
David Netherway is a mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He is the CEO of Shield Mining, an Australian listed company focused on Mauritania. Prior to this, Mr. Netherway served as the CEO of Toronto listed Afcan Mining Corporation, a China focussed gold mining company which was successfully taken over by Eldorado Gold. He is also a former director of Orezone Resources Inc. and Equigold NL. Mr Netherway is a mine developer and operator who was involved in the construction and development of the Iduapriem, Siguiri and Kiniero gold mines in West Africa and has mining experience which includes Australia, India, Nepal, Oman and Malaysia. Mr. Netherway has also held senior management positions in a number of mining companies, including Golden Shamrock Mines, Ashanti Goldfields and Semafo Inc. Mr Netherway is currently the Chairman of African Aura Mining Inc. and GMA Resources plc, a director of KazakhGold and a director of Altus Resource Capital Ltd. He is also non executive Chairman of Asterion.
Steven Poulton (Chief Executive)
Steven is a founder director and CEO of Altus Strategies Ltd. He holds an Honours degree in geology from Southampton University and a Masters degree in mining geology from the Camborne School of Mines. Steven is a director of Altus Capital Ltd, the investment manager of Altus Resource Capital Ltd [LSE:ARCL]. Steven previously worked for Mano River Resources Inc between 1998 and 2005. In 2002 he co-founded AIM listed Ariana Resources plc [AIM:AAU] and was its Chief Executive between 2004 and 2007. In 2004 he was the founder of African Aura Resources Ltd which listed on the TSX-V in 2008 and through its merger in 2009 with Mano River created African Aura Mining Inc [TSX-V: AUR & AIM: AAAM] where he is a director. He is also a director of Stellar Diamonds plc [AIM:STEL]. Steven has a track record in the exploration sector at identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements, raising venture finance and building talented management teams. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and a member of the Association of Mining Analysts.
Ed Bowie (Director)
Ed Bowie is a director of ALTUS and a director of ALTUS Capital Ltd, the Investment Manager to ALTUS Resource Capital [LSE:ARCL]. He holds an honours degree in Geology from Oxford University and a Masters degree from the Royal School of Mines at Imperial College London. Most recently he worked with EEDA with responsibility for providing finance and strategic advice to growing business in the east of England. He was formerly a Vice President at resource investment bank Ambrian Partners with responsibility for a broad range of capital and M&A transactions for junior and major mining companies. Prior to joining Ambrian Ed worked as an Equity Research Analyst with Salomon Smith Barney and as an exploration geologist with SAMAX Resources before its acquisition by Ashanti Goldfields in 1997.
Matthew Grainger (Director)
Matthew Grainger is a UK based economic geologist with over 10 years experience in the junior resource sector. Matthew graduated with Honours in Earth Science in 1997 and subsequently completed a Master's degree in Mining Geology at Camborne School of Mines. In 2002, he co-founded AIM listed Ariana Resources [AIM: AAU] where he was Operations Director until 2006. Thereafter, he became the Chief Operating Officer and a director of TSX-V listed African Aura Resources prior to its merger with Mano River in 2009 to become African Aura Mining [TSX-V:AUR / AIM:AAAM]. Matthew co-founded ALTUS Strategies in 2007, and most recently AsterionAV in 2009 which is part of the ALTUS Group. He has a significant track record of project and operations management & raising finance in the junior resource sector. Matthew is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a member of the Association of Mining Analysts.

Guy Pas
Guy Pas is a Geneva based financier who has been involved with numerous successful resource ventures, through his investment vehicles Eastbound Resources and AddVenture Capital Partners. Between 1973-1983 he was a Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank in structured and commodity finance. In 1987 he co-founded The Addax & Oryx Group Ltd, an integrated African oil group. In 1989 he co-founded and was the chairman of Samax Resources Ltd, which was focused on gold in Tanzania and was acquired on the TSX by Anglogold Ashanti for $189m in 1998. In 1995 he founded Mano River Resources Inc which through its merger in 2009 with African Aura Resources Ltd created African Aura Mining Inc, listed on the TSX-V and AIM, developing gold and iron assets in west Africa, and where he is a director. In 2004 he co-founded GAIA Resources Fund Ltd, focused on early stage private and public resource companies as well as co-founding Afren plc, a West African oil & gas company listed on AIM. Guy has been involved in establishing a number of FSU focussed ventures, most recently Ovoca Gold Plc and Siberian Diamonds.
Malcolm Burne
Malcolm Burne was originally a stockbroker and financial journalist with the Financial Times and later controlled and managed fund management, venture capital and investment banking companies in Australia, Hong Kong and North America. He is the former Chairman of Ambrian Capital plc and has been the director of over 20 companies, many of which have been in the mineral resource and gold exploration fields. In addition, he was executive chairman of the Australian Bullion Company (Pty) Ltd, Australia's leading gold dealer and member of the Sydney Futures Exchange and a director of Jubilee Platinum plc and several other resource companies in Australia.
Dr Tom Elder
Dr Tom Elder is a geology graduate of Durham University and held a post-graduate NATO Scholarship at the University of Oslo. From 1998 to 2007, he was President and CEO of TSX-V and AIM-listed Mano River Resources Inc. His extensive background in mineral exploration was gained with major companies including BP and RTZ. He is multi-lingual and has run exploration programmes in the UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greenland for Cominco Limited, prior to his appointment as worldwide Exploration Manager for BP Minerals in 1983. Following the take-over by RTZ in 1989, he was involved in project development in the Former Soviet Union. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Centamin Egypt which is listed on the main board of the LSE.

Val Mitchell has a wealth of experience in administration and project management. Prior to joining Altus, Val held a senior position with responsibility for HR, Accounts and Project Management.

Jay Jungers (Vice President, ALTUS Capital Ltd)
Jay Jungers joined ALTUS in October 2008 as Investment Analyst. Prior to joining ALTUS, Jay gained valuation experience with commercial real estate developer McArthurGlen in London and metals trader BHL Metals in Lausanne. He holds an honours degree in Chemical Engineering with Management from Edinburgh University and completed a Masters in Metals & Energy Finance at the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London in 2008.
Will Slater (Vice President, Asterion AV Ltd)
Will Slater joined ALTUS in June 2008 as a geologist. Prior to joining ALTUS, Will gained experience with an engineering consultancy practice working on major infrastructure projects in the UK. He holds a masters degree in Applied Geology from the University of Leicester and is a fellow of the Geological Society of London.
